Do you ever get the urge to craft? Well the crafting urge came over me a while back and I am just getting around to posting my crafting shenanigans. But before I could begin to craft I needed a project. I cam across this lovely pin on Pinterest,
And I knew I wanted to revamp a plastic paint can I had and use it for the birthday bracelets I hand to my students on their birthday.
I laid out all of my craft goods and got to work!
I started out by covering the top of the lid with some fun paper. Then I started tying different colors and types of ribbon around the handle of the lid. What makes this so fun is the variety of ribbons!
This is what it looked like when all was said and done,
My next craft project was the door hanging for my classroom door. I headed to Hobby Lobby where I roamed around looking for the perfect letter or number for my door. After what seemed like hours I finally settled on the number 3 and then ran over to Jo Ann's where I picked up some fun and colorful buttons.
This is a fairly simple project as well. I just layered the buttons a little at a time and then hot glued these bad boys down.
I then just hot glued some thick ribbon to the back of the number so i could hang it on the door.
And Whala! It was done!
